Memory Dump taking up need drive space
My SBS 2003 blue screened last week for the first time (somebody was streaming world cup on a 1.5MB DSL line for the first time also). I cycled power and it came back and has run very well every since. Only problem is I am low on space on the C drive and the blue screen created a memory dump file of 1.5GB. Is it necessary to save this file or can I delete it?

I would take it and copy it off to another location. Streaming shouldnt cause the SBS server to blue screen. You may want to actually analyze the dump file. But from your low disk space question. No you don't need to keep it on the server. Mark Morowczynski|MCT| MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP:EMA 2K7,EDA Win 7,ES,SA,EA|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com
