Hi 

when receiving a meeting request into outlook 2010 the request in the mail is blank yet the event has been updated on the calendar.

We use gmail to host emails and google app sync to push from gmail to outlook.

Have checked various forums to no avail, have ticked and un ticked the relevant options in outlook and searched the settings in gmail and gmail calendar.

Can anyone help?

Gmail POP3 or Gmail IMAP?

Have you got Exchange account in the same profile? In Exchange environment, Outlook manage the resource mailbox through the options under File > Options > Calendars > resource scheduling.

Actually, Outlook doesn't support calendar from IMAP/POP3 but it only can be done with 3rd party apps. Such as Gmail & google app sync. I think this is not caused by Outlook client site. Thanks. 

We could also check whether the problem still persists in a new creating profile. Thanks.
