One of the meeting attendee is able to cancel the meeting even when he has not initiated the meeting request. User A initiated/booked a reccuring meeting and selected group of users as participants.usually only initiator should be having the rights to cancel the meeting and other users simply get option to accept or decline the request. But in this case User B in particular receives a meeting request that has cancel option available.He chooses to cancel and the whole meeting reccurance is lost. Meeting request in his calender however does not show any option to Accept ,Tentative or Decline the meeting. One of the other attendee included in the same request gets all three optoins as Accept,Tentative and Decline to choose from also it shows the name of the meeting initiator on the request. Please suggest where the issue could be. Thanks

No theres no delegation in place. The meeting organizer uses OWA only,he specified a Distribution group under 'Required' and for some reason also included this attendee as 'Optional' .This attendee however is part of the Distribution Group.But then so are some other users who are part of the group and added as 'Optional' but they do not get option to cancel the meeting.

All the subsequent meeting requests form this organizer in this attendee's calender has the opion to cancel the meeting.Meeting request from other users to this attendee appear with proper options though.

Allen this would be difficult to check and replicate. When this actually happened the meeting was cancelled and notifiction sent to all the attendees including organizer.After this the person mails the group confirming his availability for the meeting everytime rather choose to Accept/Tentative/Decline. But going through this person's calender for scheduled meeting from this particular organizer it shows the option to cancel with no other options to choose from.Other requests on his calender from other organizer appears good.
