Meeting Request not showing up in sent items / inbox

Hi all,

One of the user in our organization Is facing a unique problem.

Any meeting request accepted / rejected notification  doesn't appear in his inbox at all. The meeting request updates his calendar but no accept / declined messages appear in his inbox / sent items.

I have checked there are no rules in his outlook 2013 client.

Also checked calendar notification on exchange 2013 and they are identical to my settings but I am able to get accepted / rejected notifications in my inbox.

Kindly advise what could be the root cause of such an error.

1. send one test meeting request from affected user's outlook to you

2. accept the meeting with "send response now" option

3. track the email from the server side and check where the accepted notification is struck

Have you checked the Delegate options? File -> Account settings -> Delegate access. There's the good old "Deliver meeting requests addressed to me and responses to meeting requests where I am the organizer to" selection, which I guess in your case is set to Delegates only.

Hi,

Are there any errors on senders mailbox or this users mailbox?

I suggest to track this message using message tracking log to check where is the meeting request.

Do you have any update on this ?

1. send one test meeting request from affected user's outlook to you

2. accept the meeting with "send response now" option

3. track the email from the server side and check where the accepted notification is struck

I logged a case with Microsoft and the support guy told me to run this cmdlet.

Set-CalendarProcessing -Identity malex -AutomateProcessing None

This cmdlet is only applicable for Resource mailbox.

I have informed him and now awaiting his response on the same.
