Meeting Request arrives as blank mail

Hi,

we have a strange problem here. We have a user with his main e-mail addresse user@corp.com.

This user also has a Alias address, user.name@corp.com

If an external user sends an appointment request to the main address, they only receive a blank message:

If the external users sends it to the Alias address, the meeting requests shows up correctly.:

Any hint on this?

Hi

This may depend on the mail server the external meeting request is coming from as well
Look at the format of the message they sent to see if they've set it to force plain text

Hi,

if its depending on the source server, why are mails sent to the Alias address correct and main address empty, from the same source server?

makes no sense in my view?

Hi repa1982,

According to the description, I know that everyting works fine if sending to Alias@domain.com, however getting blank mail if sending to Primary E-mail Address (which is applied E-mail Address Policy?).

How about receiving message instead of meeting? How about receiving meeting (sending to Primary E-mail Address) via OWA?

If OWA works well, it seems an issue on the Outlook client side. Please try to re-create profile or run Outlook under safe mode for testing. Also try to run "/cleansniff" switch in Outlook.

If still blank email shows up in OWA, I suggest re-apply the E-mail Address Policy to the Recipients.

Thanks

Hi,

normal Mails works fine, only Meeting requests has this issue.

We checked it in OWA, it's the same as on the client. The Policy was already reapplied, didn't help...
