I would install and run Exmon from theactive server nodeand see if you identify which mapi client is causing this:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=9A49C22E-E0C7-4B7C-ACEF-729D48AF7BC9&displaylang=enOften , this is caused by desktop search engines.

HI,TheobjtFolder registry value determines the maximum number of folders that can be opened per MAPI client and default value for Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007 is 500 foldersper MAPI client. If client tries to open more than 500 clients above error will display in event viewer. See below Microsoft article. Maximum open folder objects per logon has been changedhttp://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996193.aspxregards Chinthaka Shameera | MCITP: EA | MCSE: M | http://howtoexchange.wordpress.com/

Hi All,Thanks for all your help...one question how do I find out what the session is "ccce3fe1-0bdb-4c25-baf9-d3ea6bb9af99"? I've used exmon but are unable to find a session matching as the majority are in the format of firstname latsname. Thanks

You wont see them like that. What you need to look for which users have a high number of sessions open.Look under the ClientMon tab . Also be sure to read the Exmon doc that comes with it.

Hi Allen,Thanks for that, i manged to track down the account that was causing these issues, strange that it seems to be the Exchange service account that I installed the Exchange servers with? The account is mail enabled but is not used? Any ideas?

Is it used as a service account for any process? Backups? Anti-Virus etc... ( Are you doing mailbox level backups?)

This thread is stale, but I just had the same issue. If anyone is interested, I have a VB Script that will accept the GUID, as displayed in the Event Viewer, convert it, look it up in AD and display the associated user's distinguishedName...

Yes I am interested in the script!
