Managing another Exchange 2007 Organization in a different forest from domain workstation
Hello, I am attempting to manage an Exchange 2007 organization in a forest that is different from the domain that my workstation is in. For example, My workstation is in prod.domain.com, i am able to manage the org in that forest without issue. I would like to manage qa.domain.com from my prod.domain.com workstation using the EMC, and EMS. Thanks in advance.

Your only option is to RDP to the other forest, as there is no means to prompt for authentication credentials in another forest with the Exchange management tools. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP Blog | Exchange Resources

You can do it with Exchange 2010. However there are some prerequisites: You must establish a federated trust or an Active Directory trust to the target forest before you can add an Exchange forest. MMMM... Couldn't you just use "RUN AS" on the MMC and login with the other domains account?David Jenkins
