You can grant send on behalf of permission from AD. which will do the below delgates functions Editor-level access permissions to the calendar and tasks folders. This allows the assistant to create, modify, and delete appointments and tasks in the manager's mailbox. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123879.aspx Vinod |CCNA|MCSE 2003 +Messaging|MCTS|ITIL V3|

Yes, what Vinod said... Second option is to have some third-party tool to manage delegates from ADU&C. Something like U-BTech has ADDelegates but which costs you something... http://www.u-btech.com/products/addelegates.htmlAmit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Hi Vinod, Based on my understanding, if you give someone Send-on-Behalf permissions to your mailbox and then you view the Delegates tab in Outlook you will see this user listed. However, they are not technically a delegate in the Outlook context because all the necessary permissions/changes did not take place. Please understand that when a manager grants a user Delegate permissions, Outlook makes the following (default) changes on the managers mailbox and AD user object: On Mailbox: 1. Set Read/Write Permissions on managers Calendar folder 2. Set Read/Write Permissions on managers Tasks folder 3. Set Read/Write Permissions on the managers Freebusy Data folder under the root of their store 4. Configure properties in the LocalFreeBusy message in the Freebusy Data folder 5. Create a Forwarding Rule in the managers mailbox so meeting invitations are forwarded to the Delegate On AD User Object: Update PublicDelegates attribute of the Manager Based on my research, Microsoft does not provide a method to Manage Delegate Centrally. Therefore, I agree with Amit that you need to consider third-party tool. Mike Shen TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com
