I unable to set permissions on public folders for outlook 2010. I see that the option is grayed out. I checked this article to set the permissions http://www.howexchangeworks.com/2010/06/public-folder-permissions-added-to.html . So, i checked the EMC-Toolbox-Public Folder Management Console and created a new public folder. Here when i right click on the public folder the "Manage Settings" option is missing. I also get an error when i try to update content on the public folder. This is what i get " Cannot start content replication against public folder on public folder database" - MAPIExceptionNoRepicaAvilable StartContentReplication failed. Please let me know for possible solutions. Thanks

Hi Krish455, Have you run the AddReplicaToPFRecursive script to add replicas for the Exchange 2010 server? On Exchange 2010 EMS, navigate to drive: \Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\Scripts Run: .\AddPeplicaToPFRecursive.ps1 –TopPublicFolder “\” –ServerToAdd “your server name that is hosting your public folders”. Hi Serena, I tried doing that but i am getting the same error. But i found a workaround for setting permissions for the public folders, i assigned owner permission for my account using EMS and then went into outlook to set permissions for other users. I hope i don't get any issues as i still have the replication error in the EMC but when i run the check replica status in EMS i get this.
