Manage Default Folders in Exchange 2007 SP1
I want to set up a policy for default folder 'DeletedItems" for only 7 days.I have set upmailbox policyhowever, I am unable to see any results.Can someone show medetailed process of setting it up ?Thank youSammy

Thank you for the link, however this is for custom folder.I need something for default folder. is there any differnt steps to it.SamirSammy

I believe the option you are looking for is at the database level. If you are using Exchange 2007, go to Server Configuration, Select your server at the top, Right-Click the Database at the bottom and go to its properties. If you select the limits tab you can change the number of days in the deletion settings section.

Hi Sammy, The steps are very similar. The video tells you how to create a custom folder and then implement the maintenance on it. You dont need to create the new folder, in managed Default folders tab, right click the deleted items and choose new managed content settings Then follow the steps in the video. Thanks, Elvis
