Making exchange work
Ok, I am still rather new to exchange. But here is where I am stuck at. I will give you as many details as possible. Server 1: I ran DCPromo to make it a new domain. Silvestro.com (last name for testing) Then configure the server for DNS and DHCP. I set the range for 191.166.100.1 - 191.166.100.10. I did not do anything after that. Server 2: Installed server, joined it to the silvestro.com domain. Then went into add/remove and configured all of the IIS, asp.net, etc. then ran exchange. After exchange successfully installed... left it alone. Client: Joined it to the domain, logged on, and then ran outlook setup. It asked for the exchange server name, I put it in and it can not find the user or server. Server 1:DNS/DHCP DC 191.166.100.1 Server 2:Exchange 191.166.100.4 Client: 191.166.100.10 What am I missing? Or what else must I do just to get a simple setup and this all working? J.Silvestro
