Mails stuck in outbox

Hello,

I've been reading a lot and this issue is a very common one, but I haven't found a solution and it seems that no-one found it.

We have a user which has his own private e-mail address and Full Access rights to a few other e-mail users.

When he sends an e-mail from his private address, it is being send like it should and the addressee receives the e-mail.
When he "sends as" from an e-mail address where he has full rights, that e-mail gets stuck in the outbox and the addressee doesn't receive the e-mail.

When someone else that has the same full rights to that e-mailbox hits the send/receive button, his e-mail gets send anyway and there is no problem receiving the e-mail.
It's almost that the user doesn't have sending rights while he has full access.

User1 has e-mail user1@company.com
User2 has e-mail user2@company.com
They both have "Full Access" to the mailbox (not shared, it's a normal "user" mailbox) info@company.com

User1 "sends as" info@company.com and that e-mail get's stuck in the outbox for mailbox info@company.com
User1 hits the Send/Receive button but the e-mail doesn't get send and he gets no error, restarting Outlook does not help, removing the Outlook profile and re-creating it does not help.
User2 hits the Send/Receive button and the e-mail User1 send, get's send anyway.

We are using Exchange 2013 with Outlook 2010/2013 clients.

We have had the same problem. We have (after lot of not working solutions) added the accounts seperately in outlook.

We have delete all the full acces and send as rights from exchange and after that added a second account in outlook. (save password) It is not a prefered solution but working for us and our customer. (If user 1 or 2 change his/hear password, it should also be modified by the user... so it is not a very good solution)

We have this issue, but it also affect users who just have there own mailbox in Outlook, and have no access to any other mailboxes

We have this issue with a fair few people. A temp fix is to (first, save the emails in Outbox to the desktop, first just in case,) then to close and re load outlook
However the issue seems to come back in a few days

a more permanent fix is to set a new or rebuild the outlook profile

This is not ideal as we have over 8000 mailboxes, so i hope that a more permanent  wider fix can be found

Hope this helps

Hi Crisjolkman,

Thank you for your question.

What is cumulative update of Exchange 2013?

We could update Exchange to Exchange 2013 CU2 or later to check if the issue persist.

We could download Exchange 2013 CU2 by the following link:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=39609

If there are any questions regarding this issue, please be free to let me know.

Best Regard,

Jim
