Mailbox store can not be mounted
Hello, After having successfull installed my first Exchaneg 2007 server, i'm just wondering why i'm not able to mount a mailbox store. The Event logged by MSExchangeIS is ID 9518-9519. I also saw that there isa tab 'Enter Product Key'. Is the problem of the store related to this missing key ? Or do you have any other suggestion for me ? Thanks in advance

Hi Benoit, The missing product key shouldn't be an issue. Is this a fresh install? Did you try to create a new database? It could be related to a problem with the database files, creating a new database or even a new storage group and then a new database in it could exclude any database file related problems. It could also be a permission issue, or an AD connectivity issue. With AD problems you will probably see more errors in the event log. You could use the Exchange Best Practice Analyzer (included in the tools section of the Exchange Management Console) to do some more troubleshooting. More info on the event id's: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/ee/SearchResults.aspx?Type=1&ID=9519&Language=1033 http://www.microsoft.com/technet/support/ee/SearchResults.aspx?Type=1&ID=9518&Language=1033 Regards, Steven

Hi Steven, Thanks for your answer . I did already what you suggest. Unfortunaly, no way to mount a mailbox store. The Public folder store mounts without problems

Hi Benoit, Perhaps you could try to create a new storage group and store after deleting the problem store and storage group and the related files? How is your AD setup? Steven

Hi Steven, I also already did that. I receive always the same error, Event Id 9546 + 9519 + 9518. My AD is a single server being DC + GC, I have first installed another server with Exchange 2003, because I wanted to see how looks the mix exchange 2003 - exchange 2007

What is the exact text of the events you are getting? Also, don't worry about the product key field. That is not used yet in Beta 2.
