Mailbox role fails to install with RUS error
OK, since this is the second time that I have attempted the install, and the second time that I am having this problem, I am hoping that someone can help. I am installing 2k7 into an existing 2k3 infrastructure. One 2k3 server on the root domain, and one on the child domain. The child server is the one being updated. i get through all of the install except for the mailbox role. errors out with an RUS error. I have verified that setup /pl, setup /prepareschema, and setup /preparead have run correctly. My server shows up in the 'Exchange Install Domain Servers' group. So i am not sure how to fix the issue with RUS I will attach the relevant portion of the log below. What is wrong? How can I fix it? Haven't found too much help on the web yet. Even after fixing your permission or receipient policy that you deleted, you need to REBOOT the exchange 2007 server The Exchange 2007 setup caches the problem and will continue to fail even after the issue is resolved
