Mailbox receive mail from only one domain or external address
Hi All,
I am trying to configure a few mailboxes and allow them to only receive email from either an external email address and/or specific domain. I know how to add mail flow restrictions for internal users but don't think that this will help as the address
is external. I am guessing that setting up a contact and allowing only it to send could work but don't know how to set it up so that only a specific domain can send to the mailbox. Is this possible? If so, can somebody share their ideas,
please? I don't care if the mailbox in question can send externally or not. I just want to limit who can send to it.
Exhange 2007 SP3
Windows 2003 Server R2

2 cas/hub in windows nlb
1 Edge
Clients are Outlook 2007 sp3 on XP SP3

Hi Ashton K,
In this case you can use Transport Rules. Please, read this topic:

If you have any questions about how to configure after you read the document, please, post here.

I didn't even think about transport rules for this issue. It makes sense. Thanks.
