I am facing a very weird issue with my Mailbox movement process from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013 server and i have noticed that the mailbox movement is very very very slow i have  a mailbox which is just  11.5 KB and it is taking more than 1 Hour to complete the mailbox movement it is stuck at 95% in finalization status since last 1 hour and i dont have any clue what is happening. Short of all ideas now.

Can someone guide me a exact path were i can look into

How is it going on? Is there any error message return back?
Please run below command to check the move request log to further troubleshooting:
Get-MoveRequest -BatchName <Batch Name> | Get-MoveRequestStatistics -IncludeReport | Select UserIdentity,StartTimeStamp,CompletionTimeStamp,MoveDuration,TotalMailboxSize,Status,StatusDetail

The movement completed after 1.5 hours breakup of process from 0 to 95% it tool 1 min and then from 95% to 100% it took ~1.5 hours, it was stuck at finalization stage doing noting. 

This is what i am worried about i have 8000 mailbox which i need to move in a months time with this speed i fear it might take more than a year.

Are you crossing sites?  Make sure your AD replication isn't set to the default 180 minutes across sites, make it 15.  Make sure your AD sites are properly defined and the Exchange servers are looking at the correct DCs in their

No it is in same AD site, also the servers are connected in the Same Data center in LAN.

Enter a command like this one to see if the report tells you anything useful.

Get-MoveRequest -Identity "Mailbox Name" | Get-MoveRequestStatistics -IncludeReport | FL Report

The only thing I see is that it switched DCs.  All I can suggest is that you check AD replicati

Yeah even i notice that but for some moves it switched within few mins and also updated in timely manner, i have asked my AD team to check the DC replication.

Wondering if using -domaincontroller switch in the move request will help only to target a specific domain controller.

It may just be a fluke, then.
