Mailbox connected to mail for mac resyncs everything occasionally

Hello!

I've got a problem with one mailbox which is connected to mail for mac app on a mac with OS X Mountain Lion installed. This mailbox is connected as an Exchange account. The problem is that this particular mailbox keeps resyncing all of its elements basically every 2-3 days. This mailbox contains about 21000 messages, so it takes long time to sync, thus blocking new emails from syncing. This only occurs with one account connected to mac mail (there is a second account connected also, but there are no problems with it). Is there any place in Exchange 2013 where I can hopefully find any log files containing client syncing problems? If they are disabled by default, how can I enable them to observe the problem?

Hi MateuszP,

Not for Mac, but for windows I have seen this happening in two cases,

1. Outlook Client profile or OST is corrupt, hence it keeps on rebuilding the data locally

Sol: Reconfigure the profile\account

2. The mailbox account or some mail content is corrupt, causing the local copy to crash

Sol: Its complicated, we can work on this if required.

So in your case, what do you mean by mac app on OS X, is it MS supported application

Are you refering to Outlook 2011.

How about you configure the same account to a Windows Machine and use it for sometime, see if the issue re-surfaces there as well.

More over try configuring any other mailbox to the same PC, see if the issue arises for that account or not.
