Mailbox access through RPC over HTTP in exchange 2003
Dear All, I have one query that can we do a setting on exchange 2003 environment that those machine are on different domains will cant access our mailbox through MAPI even their machines are directly connected with local LAN. Can I force then to come to through rpc over http only? But those machines are on workgroup can access their mailbox on MAPI a/c. Is it possible? Please suggest.. Thanks in advance. The domain membership wouldn't determine whether Outlook can connect via RPC MAPI or RPC-over-HTTPS. What usually forces RPC-over-HTTPS is problems with conectivity, such as a firewall between the client and the server.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi, I am afraid you requirement may not be meet. Whether to use RPC or ROH(RPC over Http) is determined by network speed. See the following settings: Thanks, Simon
