Mailbox Storage Limit E-mails
Hi, I have recently set up mailbox limits on our exchange server. Currently Only a warning of 1Gb is in place as many users are over this so I am wanting to give them a warning and a few weeks to cut their e-mail size down. I have Set the notification e-mails to be processed and set at 12 noon each day however some users are reporting that they are getting more than 1 e-mail throughout the day regarding their mailbox being close to being full. Is there a way I can limit exchange to only send 1 e-mail per day? As I said not all users are getting this only some and sometimes its as many as 8 or more. 1 user has reported getting 1 e-mail for every 1 e-mail sent. Thanks

Check the warning notification schedule in the properties of the mailbox store. Look at the 15-minute view and be sure you only have one block checked. Otherwise, you'll send amessage at the beginning of every interval.Thiyagu | MCTS/MCITP - Exchange 2007 | MCSE 2003[Messaging] | http://www.myExchangeWorld.com. Thanks, had a look and I had select the 1200 block at the 1 hour view. Didn't know it selected the full hour block and didn't know it done it every 15 mins. Hopefully this is it. Will find out tomorrow :) Thanks
