Mailbox Rule in Exchange 2007?
Dear all, I have a requirement to create a rule for to forward mail from a specific external mail account to three other email account.(one being an Exchange mailbox and two external email account). I have tried to setup a rule in OWA as well as tried to setup rule in the Outlook 2003 but non of them worked. What did I miss? Do I need to enable any function in Exchange 2007 server to get rules processing to work? Thanks. Regards, Kueh.

Hi,In my experience, you cann't do the scanario. That means the forward mail from external email address is not possible. But I found it works if it is an internal email address. That means you may forward email messages from an internal email address to any other addresses.regards from www.windowsadmin.infoManuPhilip

Hi, Are you sue of this? If so, then this is going to be a big problem from me. Who would have thought that an expensive email messaging cannot do such a simple task. Regards, Kueh.

You may be able to accomplish this by setting up a Transport Rule on the Hub Transport server.

Hi Kueh, You could create a rule in Outlook or a transport rule in Exchange server. Please make sure you have enabled "allow automatic forward" at Exchange Management console | Organization configuration | Hub Transport | Remote Domains |<domain name> or <default> | Format tab Thanks, Elvis
