Mailbox Move - Endless Loop
I've moved over 400 mailboxes from an Exchange 2003 server to a Exchange 2007 server except two mailboxes. When I move these two mailboxes, the move process goes into a loop on the Sent Items folder. For example, the Sent Items folder has 1500 items to move. Instead of 1500 Items being moved and going to the next folder, the items being moved keeps increasing to a point say 5000. Then, the process restarts again, again, etc.. Any suggestions? I couldn't find anything in my searching. I had an idea of moving the two mailboxes from one database to another on the Exchange 2003 server? Then, I would attempt the move to Exchange 2007. Yes? Thanks Ron

I would try the internal move of the mailbox to another database then attempt the move again. However if it is just two mailboxes and they have a relatively small amount of items in it, then it may well be simplier to exmerge the faulty folders out, then move the rest and import the exported content. Although it could be an indication of a faulty mailbox in some way. Simon.Simon Butler, Exchange MVP. http://blog.sembee.co.uk , http://exbpa.com/

I moved the items out of the Sent Items folder into a PST, and I was able to move the mailbox. Yahoo!!! Ron
