Are there any tools that allow you to generate a report on how much outbound mail is being sent from my Exchange Server on a daily basis? I'm running Exchange Server 2003 Enterprise Edition.

Try this shellcommand for getting the number of send itemsGet-MessageTrackingLog -ResultSize Unlimited -Start "10/17/2009 8:00AM" -End "11/17/2009 5:00PM" -eventid Send >"c:\send.xls"This will read the message tracking logs and then pull the report to send.xlsRaj

Anyone know what how to do this for a distribution group? I'm trying to do a report for the -eventid Receive by a specific Distribution group.Robert Farmer

That seems to be related to Exchange 2003. I guess i should have clarified i'm asking about Exchange 2007. Or is it same-same?Robert Farmer

Would I run this from Power Shell? It did not like the command.
