In the NDR you should see the resaon why the message was rejected. Can you send e-mail from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2003? Do you have a bi-directional Routing Group Connector between the Exchange 2003 Routing Group and the Exchange 2010 HT server(s)? --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

I agree with Rich. This seems not the whole NDR information, the whole NDR information will include the generation server and reason why it rejected. When you telnet from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010, what error did you get? If your environment is Exchange 2003 co-existence with Exchange 2010, please follow Rich's suggestion to check for the routing group connector. If your Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2010 are in the different forests, you can create one send connector (with smart host is Exchange 2010 Hub Server) to have a try.
