Hi, We are using an exchange 2003 for our emailing infrastructure. We are facing the error mentioned below with only one domain: Sender ID: user@domain.com, The error message that the sender gets is: Final-Recipient: rfc822; texperts@pop2.thetexperts.com Original-Recipient: rfc822;recepient@domain.com Action: failed Status: 5.2.2 Remote-MTA: dns; pop2.netcore.co.in Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 552 5.2.2 Over quota The issue that I see here is that the id in the first line does not match any of our records. The records that we have are smtp. rediffmailpro.com & mail.thetexperts.com, however here comes a totally different id which I beleive is causing an issue. Also the error "Over Quota" is mis-leading as the same user gets around 20-25 mails everyday so I am not considering that while troubleshooting. I suppose this to be an issue from the sender end as we are able to send mails to this id & this issue is with receiving mails only. Kindly help with the issue Thanks & Regards, Amit Bhattacharjee

Hi Amit, Is it true that a external sender user@domain.com cannot send the message to the recipients in your domain, and the NRD message indicated that the Final-Recipient is texperts@pop2.thetexperts.com? Since you can receive messages from other domains, I also think this problem is in the sender's domain. Suggest the domain administrator to check if they have correct A record and MX record for your mail server.
