Hi friends.We have exchange server 2007 setup.But all mails to yahoo go to yahoo spam . But no problem with mail to gmail, hotmail etc. problem is only with yahoo. its happens to all users mailplz help thanks

thanks i will check and replybut here i can send the mail to yahoo. but in yahoo the mails are going to spam not to inbox Also we don't have PTR records on isp domain. will that cause this problem?

Hi,If you're sending e-mail out via an external IP which has no PTR (Pointer Record/Reverse DNS), then that usually is a big factor with various spam checks. The best way around this is to have a PTR record created for your outbound IP or alternatively use your ISPs SMTP relay.I'm surprised only Yahoo! is detecting e-mails as spam though, especially if no PTR record is present (or SPF record).

thanks friends for the help. adding PTR record solved the problem But now i am facing one problem. Mail server not receiving mail from only one domain(corresponding domain is configured in smarter mail), but i can send mail to corresponding domain and its working. Mail to-and-fro from all other domains like yahoo, gmail Hotmail rediff etc are working properly thanks
