Mail flow through VPN link, getting failed from one server to another server.
Mail flow through VPN link, getting failed from one server to another server. Source Server: CGYXMB01 (Mailbox server), CGYXHS01/CGYXHS02 (HUB Server) Calgary Location Destination: AUSXCH01 (Mail/HUB/CAS) Australia Location We are testing the mail flow via our secondary link (VPN link) but getting failed. Mails were queued and havent been delivered. Mail has been sent from CGYXMB01, mailbox server to AUSXCH01 (Mail/HUB/CAS). It has routed via the HUB servers CGYXHS01/CGYXHS02. But mails havent been delivered to AUSXCH01. It was in queue itself. We did the telnet from Source to Destination server and the results are as below; We found that the telnet is happening between the Servers AUSXCH01 to CGYXHS01 & CGYXHS02 (port 25). And vice- versa. We are getting telnet output as below PS: If both source/destination servers connected with primary link then we dont have issues in sending/receiving mails. Could you please let me know, how we can address this issue further. ThanksFunnyghost

As per the Network team update: ASA ESMTP and SMTP Inspection Do Not Allow Certain Commands over Telnet. http://www.cisco.com/image/gif/paws/113423/asa-esmtp-smtp-inspection.pdfFunnyghost
