Mail Enabled Public Folder Email is not delivering to
Our mail-enabled was setup already and working fine but some how it stopped.I've created a new mail enabled folder. I can send the email to this mail enabled folder but I'm unable to get the fax via fax finder into this mail enabled folder. Fax fidner use the account FAX and it does authenticate to the exchange but it is unable to deliver the faxes to the public folder. Exchange screwed up without any reason. What could be the problem.

Hi, What errors are you getting? Do mail flow works for other users or exchange accounts? Check transport services whether they are running? Also check public folder database is mounted or not. Regards,Laeeq Qazi|Team Lead(Exchange + Sharepoint + BES + DynamicsCRM) www.HostingController.com

May be Transport related services have some issue on HUB Transport server. Check them whether they are running? also check event viewer of Mailbox server and Hub server, any error there? fax finder doesn't give error.when it authenticates to the exchange it says it is successful and i get an emai in the fax email about the all the setting.i do all the get the email to my fax email account i.e. FAX about all the failure email faxes which are supposed to be in the public folder.so FAX account by somehow is not able to deliver the messages in the public folder, though i can directly email to the public folders.

how do i know if my mail-enabled public folders are working?

Hi,After reviewing the whole case, I would like to summarize the current issue:The mail enabled public folder can receive all the normal email from the sender except for the Fax email. Is that right? The Fax account can pass the authentication when connecting the Exchange server. If my understanding is not correct, please let me know. Now I suggest you first check the message tracking log in Exchange server. Additionally, you can also configure the Fax to send the email to one normal mailbox, check the result.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/925823/en-usThanksAllen
