Mail Address for child domains
Hi , I am having Windows 2003 Server installed , yet i have not installed exchange 2003 . my live web site is also running on this server. Now the problem is i am going to give sub domain from my parent domain website .. e.g My Parent server is xyz.com Now i am creating 100 sub domains daily like abc.xyz.com , pqr.xyz.com etc ...I need to create a mail id for each of this sub domain e.g john@abc.xyz.com , phil@pqr.xyz.com , you can say 2-3 mail ids in each of the child domain ...but the thing is i am going to create numbers of domains daily for my web site ..as i am having one web site and i am going to allow users for the sub domains...is it possible if i am installing Exchange 2003 in a Parent server only ..not in all the child domains ..as my all the sub domains will be hosted on parent server ... Please Help .. John

As long as you have MX and A records for all the domains, and have a receipt policy that contains each, it should work. My last company had 18 different e-mail addresses. Thanks, John G.
