MailBox Folders update with a lot of data each morning

Hello,

Some of my users meet the problem : each morning once Outlook 2010 starting they have to syncronize a lot of data (>200Mb), but in reality there are no such information to download from Exchange server. During the synchronization Outlook is blocked, no new messages, impossible to search, etc. The syncronization take ~30 mins.

We have one DAG on 4 Exchange 2010 SP3 servers.

Any idea?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Do the users subscribed to any RSS feed in their Outlook? If so, please try disabling the RSS feed from updating automatically and then check if this issue persists. To do this, please follow:

1. Click Send/Receive tab > Send/Receive Groups > Define Send/Receive Groups

2. Highlight 'All Accounts' group and click Edit button.

3. Click RSS in the list of Accounts on the left.

4. Untick the check box before 'Include RSS Feeds in this Send/Receive group'.

5. Click OK.

In addition, when Outlook is synchronizing, can you click the Show Progress button under Send/Receive tab? If so, we can click the button and view which send/receive progress Outlook is performing.

Hope this helps.
