Macros are not autmatically running in Office 64-Bit Excel

I have been racking my brain/google trying to find an resolution for this issue. I currently upgraded from office 32 to office 64 (2013) I use macros on a daily bases. In the 32 bit version the macros always worked being that they were in the XLSTART file However, since I have upgraded they will not automatically run. I have to get into the XLSTART folder and run the macros manually.   I have ensured macros are not disabled, checked the path of trusted locations, deleted and re-added the files into XLSTART, but none of these have fixed my solution.

Does anyone know what I am overlooking?

TIA!

Hi,

According to your description, I suppose this issue might be caused by the path of Excel XLSTART folder changed.

For example, if we installed 32bit Office in 64bit Windows, the path of Excel XLSTART folder is:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\XLSTART

And then, after we upgraded to 64 bit Office, the path of Excel XLSTART folder is:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office15\XLSTART or C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Microsoft\Excel\XLSTART

Please try to store the workbook in above path.

Hope it's helpful.
