MX migration
Hello, I use Exchange 2007 and I will need to migrate MX from a company we bought. We have migrated all the users and public folder, and have the domain as accepted in our organization: Name DomainName DomainType Default ---- ---------- ---------- ------- company2.com company2.com ExternalRelay False We would need to migrate the MX in order to have emails from *@company2 received on our organization. As I have never done that before and take the project back, I would like to know if you would help me out and tell me what needs to be done on the messaging side. Many thanks in advance

There will be a period where the old MX records will still exist in DNS cache after you make the change. You can minimize the affect of this by shortening the TTL on the existing MX records ahead of the actual changeover.[string](0..33|%{[char][int](46+("686552495351636652556262185355647068516270555358646562655775 0645570").substring(($_*2),2))})-replace " "
