MS outlook 2007 on Exchange server 2003 sent messages error
Have been running Exchange 2003 Version: 6.5.7638.1 without problems on Server 2003 SP2. My PC is having the issue. I am running Win XP Pro SP3 and Office 2007. For months the PC was fine. All of the sudden my 'sent mail' folder is empty. when i click on it. says 'the messaging interface has returned an unknown error. if problem persists restart Outlook'; have done many times but still not fixed. Is the Sent Items folder empty on the Exchange Server as well? You could check this with eighter Outlook Web Access or MFCMAPI. Useful tools while troubleshooting Outlook issues (3) - MFCMAPI Jesper Bernle | Blog: http://xchangeserver.wordpress.com

Hi Don, In addition to Jesper, you can follow these steps to have a try: 1. Use Outlook safe mode to check whether this issue will occur or not. You can run Outlook safe mode by this way: Start->Run->type “Outlook /safe” (without the quotation marks)->OK 2. Create a new Outlook profile to have a try, you can follow this document to create a new profile in Outlook 2007: How to create and configure an email profile in Outlook 2010, Outlook 2007, and Outlook 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;829918 Thanks, EvanPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
