MS Query wizard in Microsoft Excel 365 Pro plus

Hi Everyone

I am having an issue in when running the when running the Microsoft Query wizard. When opening the query table and start running the wizard, the right hand side column gets cut in half. There is no scroll as well as that is also cut off. I have tried changing multiple settings in Windows, MS Access, and Excel without any luck. This is only happening on one Pc. Any suggestions would be great. :)

Hi Apocalyps,

Based on your description, I want to ask you two questions about your issue:

1. Could you tell the steps of importing data?

2. >>the right hand side column gets cut in half. There is no scroll as well as that is also cut off.<< did you mean you left the right side contents as shown in the following figure?

I suggest you try to remove ODBC Driver for Excel and re-install it. You can go to Control Panel- click Administrative Tools- select ODBC Data Sources, then remove Excel Driver and add it back.

Please try this method and check if it works for you, I'm glad to help and follow up your reply.

Hi Emi Zhang

Thank you for your reply.  I would like to post a screenshot of what i am getting but it comes up with an error stating that my account needs to be verified first. I have tried removing the excel driver and re-adding it as suggested, but the problem persists. Both Office and the operating system is running on 64bit. The table on the right hand side(as marked by red) is not showing the scrollbar, up and down arrows, and is cutting the text off

Steps I use to import data:

Excel> Data> From Other Sources> From Microsoft Query> Choose data source> Follows with below screen

Hi Apocalyps,

Did you not select the column data on left hand side?

Hi Apocalyps,

I tried to change the size of all items in my own environment, the font size change to larger but I still didn't get your issue.

I suggest you try to update video drivers in your computer and check if it works for you.

Please try this method and check if it works for you.

Hi Emi Zhang

Video drivers are up to date and I have tried using different resolutions. I have a pc with the exact same setup and office pack that does not have this issue.
