MS Oulook 2010 message in SUBJECT field is gone when sending, It is also gone in Sent Items
Hi, need your support to solve the issue I have encountered in Outlook 2010. The scenario is that I am using PST files. Everytime I send email with subject, it is gone. When I checked my sent items also gone. do you have any idea how to solve it without re-installing the Office?

Hi,

Please send an email on your webmail site with subject, check if the subject will be missing on the recipient's side and in your sent items.

If there is no such issue when you send emails on web, please troubleshoot this issue in Outlook Safe Mode:

Press Win + R and type outlook.exe /safe in the blank box, then press Enter.
If theres no problem in Safe Mode, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which add-ins caused this issue.

Also try recreating the profile and re-setup the account to test if the issue persists.

If my understanding is not accurate, please feel free to contact me again.

Regards.

Hi Thank You for the reply. I have done your suggestion however does not solve the issue. By the way, is Anti-Virus like McAfee is related to this? Example is like this:

===================

To:

CC:

Bcc:

Subject: TESTING

Message

===================

Now once you click SEND, you may not found the "TESTING" under Subject field.

I have created a new profile already, still the same issue.

Thanks,

Hi,

I have done all your suggestion & this is the result.

1. Please send an email on your webmail site with subject, check if the subject will be missing on the recipient's side and in your sent items. Answer: I use OWA & it seems fine. I goes to my email with SUBJECT message.

Answer: I have done the command using safemode in Outlook, problem still remain. I have also removed all ADD-INS, still problem remain.

3. Also try recreating the profile and re-setup the account to test if the issue persists. Answer: I have re-create my outlook profile, still the problem remain.

Note: I configured different user account in my Outlook. Configure his PST file & use his outlook credentials to login. save the PST file in the same folder where my PST is residing. It works fine. Doing the same solutions above, there is no issue on his Outlook account. Do you have any idea why this happen?

Also, I have created a new PST file for me, & the problem still remain.

From Your troubleshooting its very clear that the settings is in your profile in form of Custom forms etc. ..

Is there a way you login to some other laptop where you have never logged in and then share the result .

Hi Anand,

Appreciate your reply. Just to share you more ideas. I heard that some issues related to Anti-Virus.

Exampple:

"Outlook has temp file c:\users\username\appdata\local\microsoft\windows\temporary internet files the suspicion is that once the real time scanning scans the temp files i.e. during opening email or replying emails, this might lock the file and cause issues in outlook such as blank emails, so what we did is to bypass the path on the antivirus real time scanning at least". It might be similar in your case maybe not."

The above solution comes from one of my friend. That they encounter an issue in Outlook 2010. Subject is fine, but the content on the message field is missing.

So in my case, what i did is assuming my MS office specially Outlook is corrupted, I have UNINSTALL, restart & RE-INSTALL MS Office 2010 & restart. After installation, i configured Outlook, then the issue on SUBJECT Field resolved. I believe there is some corruption in Outlook or files that causes the issue.

Now my Outlook issue has been resolve.

-------------------------------------------

On the other hand, some users that has the same issue might need different solution. Our infrastructure is fine & there is no problem. The only missing part on this is that something that cause this to happen. Do you think that a PATCHES or an UPDATE of MS Office may solve the case generally?

-------------------------------------------

By the way, I don't know how to click "Mark as Answer" as there is no option for me to do it...
