MS Office Professional Edition 2003 ODBC Error 1919 When Installing on Windows 8 OS Laptop

Hello, I just purchased a laptop with Windows 8 OS and have tried to install Microsoft office Professional Edition 2003, but keep having an error that says, "error 1919, Error configuring ODBC data source: Visual FoxPro Database: error ODBC 6: Component not found in the registry. Verify that the Visual FoxPro Database exists and that you can access it."

Can someone help me to resolve this issue?

Thanks,

to fix this error,,,run your PC as administrator...then do as follows

Got to the Start button then select All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and then click System Restore.

In the new coming window, select Restore my computer to an earlier time option and then click Next.

Select the most recent system restore point from the On this list, click a restore point list, and click Next.

Again click Next on the confirmation window.

Restarts the computer when the restoration is finished.

If the above solution does not help you then opt for a third party repairing tool such a MS Access Repair Toolfollow the link get this product and solve your queries.

KB818954

It is not clear in this article that these answers are for windows 8.1.   I can't find any information that addresses the problem specifically for 8.1  Windows 10 migration didn't have this problem.

Thanks Just The Same;
