I have upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 (free upgrade for eligible windows versions) and my legal copy of ms office 2010 doesn't work anymore (worked over a year and stopped working right after windows upgrade). It says it requires reactivation or it will stop working in 2 days. Activation via internet doesn't work. Is it a common problem? Any other suggestions than going through the painful activation via phone?

Try repairing Office first, do you still meet the issue?
