There you go……. 1) Primary site Clustered Mail solution Based on your need you can opt for solution like SCC, LCR or CCR …but I’d recommend CCR, take a look below http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb124521(EXCHG.80).aspx 2) Secondary site DR failover Again depends upon your need(essentially SLA, RPO,RTO etc) you can either opt for Geo-diverse CCR or SCR, for SCR refer the link below http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb676502(EXCHG.80).aspx 3) Storage options Depends on what's your company already has versus IOPS, refer the link http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb738147(EXCHG.80).aspx http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/bb412164.aspx 4) Archiving There are many products available…choose the one that suits best to you, refer the link http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/exchangesvrcompliance/thread/9e50b8ba-5e50-498a-ad8b-8f4fd32211ae 5) Anti-Virus... solution http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/2007/partners/2007/antivirus.mspx Also what cost effective archiving solutions can we use? Refer step 4 Thanks Regards, Pushkal MishrA

Not sure if there is any framework available from MS but there is a exchange 2007 advisor from Dell ............it is a questionnaire type that will help you put together a topology..hopefully it'll be helpful. http://www.dell.com/content/topics/global.aspx/tools/advisors/exchange_advisor?c=us&l=en&cs=555Regards, Pushkal MishrA
