MS Access 2013 - There isn't enough free memory to update the display

In Office 2013, in MS Access, I have only created a few Linked tables & queries, but encountered the following error:

"There isn't enough free memory to update the display. Close unneeded programs and try again"

Hi,

In regarding of the issue, please provide us more information to assist you better.

Did the error message pop-up with the special Access database or the some other databases?

If it only happened with the special Access database, it might be caused by the database damaged. Please try to Compact and Repair feature mentioned in the following article:
https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Compact-and-repair-a-database-6ee60f16-aed0-40ac-bf22-85fa9f4005b2

Then, we also might check the Linked tables & queries of database, it also might cause this issue. Or you could upload a sample here via OneDrive.

If the other database also has the issue, please try the method in that thread:

This might be caused by a corrupt VBA registry key. Open your registry editor by clicking START >> RUN and then type regedit and click ok. Then navigate to the registry key below and delete it. When you try to run the VB editor again a new registry key will be created.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VBA

You'll also want to try booting the PC itself into Safe Mode to see if the problem persists.

Hope it's helpful.

I have the same problem frequently. I found the only way to remedy this is restarting MS Access 2013. This happens with query viewing.

Here are the message and the PC's memory snapshot:

I am getting the same error message as the OP.  It occurs when I try to change a query from table view to design view.  I never had this issue with Access 2007.  Has a solution been found?

I have this same problem when I switch to another login.  I do not run Access on the other login.  It does seem to occur when I use IE on the other login.  I also have IE running on the same login where I am getting the Access error.

I have had this problem ever since upgrading(?) to Office 2013 32-bit. I have tried all kinds of things to resolve it with no success. Close all other programs, uninstall and re-install Office, remove all add-ons, new database, set monitor backgrounds to solid color or low res, the latest thing was to spend $$$ on a new video card... Still the same issue. I am running Win7-64bit with 16 GB of memory and a video card with 4 GB of memory.

It occurs when going from Datasheet view to Design view. Is there any way to get rid of this aggravating problem?

One thing that always causes it to happen is if I use remote desktop to connect to my computer. After disconnecting and logging in locally, I will definitely get this error message.
