MSN & AOL integration

Hi hoping that this forum can answer my query.

I have a query from a client. I want to know if there is a way to archive aol & msn messenger communication in exchange 2013. All members of staff have Lync 2013 accounts but some use personal msn and aol.

Is there a way to integrate those two third party app into exchange so we can utilise the capturing of online communication from within the office environment?

Regards

I have no idea how this would be accomplished.  My recommendation would be to follow what all of my customers do and require that users use internal e-mail for business purposes.  A few of my customers even block third-party e-mail websites at their web proxy.

Hi,

For Skype for business, Conversation History folder is not treated as a default folder by Outlook, but it's treated as a special folder by Exchange and can have RPTs applied. Therefor, we can archive Lync content, such as IM conversations, to a users mailbox on-premises or online. For your reference: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn508399(v=exchg.150).aspx

As far as I know, we cannot archive AOL & msn messenger communication to Exchange mailbox or Office 365 mailbox. We recommend use Skype for Business for business purposes as Ed mentioned.
