MSExchange EdgeSync 10104 & 1024
Hello, I'm in desperate need of some help. I have an Exchange 2007Cluster configured as follows: Hub Transport / Mail Server Edge Transport Server Client Access Server This morning, I was getting errors thrown all over the place on my Hub Transport server. They were:EventID: 12019Description: The remote internal transport certificate expired. So I followed a guide here: http://www.jwarburton.com/mt/tech/2008/10/event_id_12014_on_edge_and_eve.html And created a new set of self-signed certificates, created a new edge-subscription file, tried to import the file and got a warning telling me that the edge server and the transport server needed to be able to communicate. (I can ping between them, and mail WAS flowing just fine before I started the process).I tried to force a sync afterward using Start-EdgeSynchronization and get the following:Result : CouldNotConnectType : GeneralName : CN=SERVER-NAME,CN=Servers,CN=Exchange Administrative Group (FYDIBOHF23SPDLT),CN=Administrative Groups,CN=Company,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=domain,DC=comFailureDetails : The LDAP server is unavailable.StartUTC : 1/26/2009 4:46:21 PMEndUTC : 1/26/2009 4:46:21 PMAdded : 0Deleted : 0Updated : 0Scanned : 0TargetScanned : 0 I've tried: On Edge: get-exchangecertificate | fl enable-exchangecertificate -thumb <thumbofvalidcert> -services SMTPOn Hub: get-exchangecertificate | fl enable-exchangecertificate -thumb <thumbofvalidcert> -services IMAP,POP,SMTPOn Edge: New-EdgeSubscription -filename "C:\file"On Hub: Removed the old subscription, went through the "New Edge Subscription Wizard" and imported the xml file created above.
