MSExchange Common Error 4999 when Running ExBPA Health Check
When I attempt to run the ExBPA Health Check from a brand new installation of Exchange 2010 SP1 (in an existing Exchange 2007 Org) I get the following error: Source: MSExchange Common Event ID: 4999 Description: Watson report about to be sent for process id: 9092, with parameters: E12, c-RTL-AMD64, 14.01.0218.015, ExBPA, M.Web.Administration, M.W.A.ConfigurationManager.CreateWritableAdminManager, S.R.InteropServices.COMException, 7e64, 06.01.7600.16385. Has anyone seen this error before? The rest of the Exchange processes seem to be working fine. Thansk in advance, Rob

Thanks for the followup. We are running BES but I don't believe this is the same issue as my error is referencing ExBPA as the culprit not the RPC Client Access service which appears to be the case in this thread. Rob

Hi Rob, You are running Exchange 2010 SP1(14.01.0218.015)? Suggest you install the Rollup2 in order to avoid some known issue first: Update Rollup 2 for Exchange Server 2010 Service Pack 1 (KB2425179) http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=0059546f-f43d-4c7e-8367-81c6d5642bf3 Are there any error events in the Event Viewer?
