Installing Exchange 2010 on Server 2008 R2. Getting this "MSExchangeTransport failed to start" error. I did enable IPv6 on the network connection. Nothing in the event viewer jumps out at me. can you post more of the Exchange Setup Log from that installation, I think there will be more clues in there as to what is going on.

that worked. I uninstalled as best I could, made sure ipv6 was checked and the NetTcpPortSharing service was set to automatic. Then did a reinstall. No errors this time.

hi ihave the same problem , and i made sure net.tcp service is on automatic and running and IPV6 is checked but still have the problem i reinstalled twice but nothing changed . Any other solution ? thank you
