MSExchangeMGMT Event ID 8
Exchange Server 2003Every night at about the same time I receive the following application error for each of our four storage groups: The Microsoft Exchange Management service denied user "SYSTEM" access to "CN=TABS04,CN=First Storage Group,CN=InformationStore,CN=TABSHOUBE01,CN=Servers,CN=First Administrative Group,CN=Administrative Groups,CN=TabsDirect,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=TabsDirect,DC=pvt" but the Access Control List (ACL) for it contained non-domain specific access control entry (ACE) granting access that could not be evaluated 'SYSTEM' is in the Security properties for the storagegroups with full control.Anyonehave any ideas? Thanks in advance

Try running ExBpa against that server, both for Health and Permissions and see if it finds anything amiss.

I had done that when I first started looking at this issue a few weeks ago. The Health scan indicated two issues with inheritance block. I made changes and the scan no longer showed the issues but the errors did not stop.

Have you been able to match up the event log errors with any running process? (AV scans, monitoring software, IS Maint, backups etc...)

Please go to ADSI Editor and enter the Properties of CN=TABS04 entry. Check the permissions of Anonymous Logon, please make sure it only has the inherited permission (Allow: Read, Create named properties in the information store). If theres any explicit Deny permissions on it, please remove those permissions and restart the System attendant service. Then, check the issue
