MAPI connecting problem
Hi , i have just created 2 DC for testing environment .in 1 Dc i have installed exchange server 2003 sp2 . i have join client computer and i can able to login in client systems . when i am going to config outlook 2003 with MAPI profile its giving masseg "The name could not be resolved.the action could not be completed". i can able to config pop3 user and also i can login with owa . please help me Thanks Vino

Hi Vino, Do you get this error for only one user or for all users in your environment? Try to create new user and check. Additionally, update your Exchange 2003 server withall latest patches. Run ExBPA to detect any issue in your environment..

Hi, As Amit said, whether only one user or all users encountered this issue? And if only one user had this issue, please use ADSI tool to locate the problematic user, then check showInAddressBook property. The detailed steps you can refer to the below outline: Download ADSI Edit tool:http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/library/ebca3324-5427-471a-bc19-9aa1decd3d401033.mspx?mfr=true Open ADSI, expand Domain, expand Users, find the problematic user, right click it, click Properties, find showInAddressBook attribute and double click it, view the configuration and post it on the forum. If all users had this issue, please try to restart the GC, then check this issue. If the issue persists, please expand ESM, expand Recipients, expand Recipient Update Services, you will find there have two Recipient Update Services. Please right click them one by one, select Rebuild. After that, please check this issue. Thanks Allen
