Lync 2013 installation problem

My computer froze while I was installing Lync 2013, and now when I try to install it I get the following message:

"Something went wrong. Office can't do that right now because your product is busy with another task. Please wait for this task to complete and try again."

Any insight is appreciated. Thank you.

Hi,

Would please follow the steps below to try troubleshooting the issue:

1. Please go to Control Panel and try running a repair of your Office installation to check the result.

2. Open task manger and end integratedoffice.exe process, and then test the issue again.

Run the FIX IT from the following article to remove the integratedoffice.exe from the registry as well.

3. Restart the computer in Clean Boot and install Office 365. Follow the steps:

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting in clean boot, ensure you restart the computer in normal mode.
