Our enterprise uses 3 specific laptop models our Dell latitude E7240 is having an issue after Skype for Business update (KB3054791) where it wont show the address list when you try to add a person to a conversation. Uninstalling the update fixes the issue but we keep all of our PCs up to date so thats not really an option especially since we have PCs all over the world. Below are the troubleshooting steps I have gone through.
Installed Dell Specific video Driver
Installed intel specific video driver
disabled all video drivers
Running lync with the lync.exe /safe command
Repairing office
Just a blank white box appears you can type in and if you know who you want to add you can still do so but it doesnt show anything except what you type.
