Lot of help needed in recovery
Hello, I have a huge issue that i'm not sure how/if to proceed with recovery. This morning I noticed that one of our stores was not mounted so i attempted to and it threw a couple of errors. I went to check the .edb file and to my excitement it was at 0kb. What makes matters worse is it looks as though our most recent backup crapped out as well. All the trans log files are there and are fine. Any help would be hugely appreciated.

What are the exact errors in the logs? If the store is truly gone, then do a restore of course. Much of that depends on the backup software you are using. Are you running file level anti-virus on that server?

"An internal processing error has occurred, Try restarting the exchange sys manager or information service or both." Which I did. Backup software is veritas yes we are running McAfee on there.

Well as luck may have it there mailboxes were set in cache mode so i'm just creating a new store and having them archive their current emails and forwarding any new ones to the new address.
