Looking for vba to prompt user to get out of an Excel file

Hello. I am in need of vba code to prompt a user to get out of an Excel file. I have an Excel file in a shared folder and would like to be able to prompt (or have Excel prompt) a user who has left the file open on their computer.

Thank you,

James

Hi James,

As far as I know, you cannot use VBA code to get your result. Because Excel object model didn't provide the interface.

If need more information about it, I suggest you post your issue to MSDN forum for Excel

http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?forum=exceldev&filter=alltypes&sort=lastpostdesc

The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thank you for your understanding.
