I have two NLB servers A and B. Exchange 2007 with Outlook 2007 ServerA: CAS, HUB and Mailbox Roles (Pub Folders) ServerB: CAS, HUB When I reboot ServerA three things happen; Outlook wants a password and the MSIS and MS Transport services need to be started manully. any thoughts? thanks.

This happend because of your MS IS service was stop for a while and in the mean time outlook tried to hit AD. Remember each information resided in AD config parttion. If you are rebooting mailbox server and if come back in idle time then you will not see any password prompt from client side. But it happend if there is delay to come up MSIS service, This is what I have seen some times.
