Loadgen to test authentication in one-way trust environment
Hi, I have two forests with one-way trust between them. The Exchange server is in the Resource Forest, and all clients are in the Account Forest. Can loadgen be used to test in this kind of environment? Thanks.

I haven't tried. But there shouldn't be any need to becuase it shouldn't have any significant impact on performance.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi, Ed is right. This will not impact on performance. Microsoft® Exchange Load Generator is a benchmarking, pre-deployment validation, and stress testing tool that introduces various types of workloads into a test (non-production) Exchange messaging system. You can know more about Microsoft Exchange Load Generator from this document: Microsoft Exchange Load Generator http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb508893(EXCHG.80).aspx Thanks, Evan Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Thanks Ed and Evan. My test environment is non-production system. However, I am really interested to do a stress tests in such environment for two reasons: (1) linked mailboxes are used (2) authentication part is a little different. I understand that Loadgen might not support creating linked mailboxes. However, does loadgen work with pre-configured accounts? For example, if I created accounts in my account forests, and create linked mailboxes in my resource forest manually, is there a way to let loadgen work against these accounts?
